Tyler is a class 2022 Mechanical Engineering student concentrating in Energy Technologies. He has been in EWBBU for several years now, and has been one of the cochairs of the domestic programs. Tyler has shown big passion for sustainability not just in EWWBU but also outside the club by, for instance, prizing in the “Energy Hack” competition.
Ana Souza is an example of the fact that EWBBU spans not just engineering community, but all across the university. She is a class 2022 Computer Science student, who participated in EWBBU for several years. Ana joined the EWBBU because she believes in the values of the organisation and wants to help the communities in need
Hi, I'm Jimmy. I'm a freshman studying computer engineering at BU. Academics aside, I'm the lead designer of this website which makes me part of a little bit of everything EWB related.
I'm originally from Shanghai, China but I was raised in Melbourne, Australia ever since I was five. No we don't have kangaroos on the street; we do say "mate" a lot; we don't have snakes in our gardens; nothing in our backyard can kill us at a moments notice... Usually.
I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to aesthetics as I believe people respond to how we present ourselves. There's a strange comfort in beauty that's quite hard to describe.
In my spare time I like to build robots, play chess, play the oboe and read books (mostly non-fiction).
